Presently serving as Professor (Economics) at Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management (AJNIFM). I hold a Master’s Degree in Economics and Master’s Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Business Analytics and Intelligence. Pursuing Masters in Computer Application. I also have a Doctorate Degree in the field of Economics. Qualified Data Scientist, Machine Learning (ML) Architect, Computational Econometrician, and PMP Certification Trainer with Govt. of India Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt & Green Belt, VE Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, ABI USA Certified Lean Six Sigma White Belt. Having more than 27 Years of teaching, training, administration, consultancy, publication, and research experience. Served as Chief Administrative Officer for almost three years at AJNIFM.
Worked at Jamia Millia Islamia (Central University) for nearly ten years. Also worked as a Consultant to the Ford Foundation, UNESCO, and UGC-sponsored projects and associated with other research projects which include IDPAD-ICSSR and ICSSR. Participated in and presented research papers at national seminars and international conferences in India and abroad. Had been Programme Director / Coordinator of more than 190 Management Development Programme organized for the various central and state government officers. The industry recognizes as a resource person in the area of Data Analysis in Social Sciences Research using statistical & econometric software.
Had been Asst. Editor to a monthly Magazine titled “Monthly Economic Digest”. And worked as Managing Editor of a biannual periodical titled “NIFM Journal of Public Financial Management” and presently associated as Chief Editor of this Journal. Areas of interest include mathematical economics, business economics, managerial economics, computer applications in economics, risk analysis and estimation, research methodology, project and risk management, and econometrics.
Organized National conferences/Seminars and participated in various International Conferences in India and abroad. Also coordinated International programs at the University of Ljubljana, Europe; and Universiti Utara Malaysia, Kedah, Malaysia; and Manchester Metropolitan University, Manchester, UK; and Programmes under the auspices of TCS Colombo Plan and Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. Held position of Member of the Advisory Board of “Staff Selection Commission, New Delhi, India” and listed as an Agro Expert in FICCI.
Having vast International exposure that includes Latin America (Brazil and Argentina), Canada, the United Kingdom (UK), Europe (Republic of Slovenia, Italy, Austria, France, Netherlands, and Croatia), Malaysia, and Singapore. Remained in different programs on AIR, Brazilian Radio Service, and Sansad TV (erstwhile, DD Rajya Sabha) for approximately 25 hours.
